Apple Cider Vinegar Drinks

Apple Cider Vinegar

I believe that apple cider vinegar is probably the best (and cheapest) detoxifier for the body. Organic raw Apple Cider Vinegar can be used as a daily drink to change the bodie’s pH from acidic to alkaline. Morgellons appear to thrive in an acidic pH environment. White vinegar has been distilled and processed and is NOT the vinegar to be used in these recipes. Apple cider vinegar is an exception: unlike almost every other vinegar, it has an alkaline ash and improves pH by making the body less acidic. The body’s pH is at an ideal theoretical pH 7.35 – 7.5.  Apple cider vinegar is more potent than lemon juice, but still a gradual way to reestablish healthy pH in the body. Organic raw apple cider vinegar has the “mother” culture floating in the bottle. This is the only vinegar recommended for the following recipes.

Recipes for Apple Cider Vinegar Drinks

Honeyed Apple Cider Vinegar Tonic

  • 1 – 2 teaspoons of raw Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 – 2 teaspoons raw honey or grade A maple syrup
  • 8 oz of filtered water. hot or cold

Combine in a glass. Sip rather than gulp. May be taken two or three times daily.

Apple Cider Vinegar Lemonade

  • 2 – 3 teaspoon of raw Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Fresh squeezed juice of 4 organic lemons
  • Stevia, raw honey (preferably Manuka honey) or grade A organic maple syrup to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon or 3 – 4 capsules of powdered cayenne pepper
  • crushed or cubed ice from filtered water
  • 16 oz of filtered water

Combine in a quart pitcher and serve in glasses. Sipped. May take two or three glasses daily.

Apple Cider Vinegar & Thieves’ Oil

  • 1 – 2 teaspoons of raw Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 or more oz filtered water
  • 2 drops Thieves essential oil blend (optional)  The Thieves essential oil blend (containing clove, cinnamon, lemon, eucalyptus, rosemary) gives the vinegar an extra immune-boosting kick. It also improves the flavor.

Taken first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach, by combining in a small glass.

Herbs & Cider Tea

  • 1 tablespoon of raw Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 – 2 small garlic cloves (may use garlic tincture)
  • 1 tablespoon of  honey (preferably raw Manuka honey)
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice
  • 6 oz of a hot tea such as green tea, herbal tea or even chai tea.
  • Optional: cayenne, ginseng, gingko biloba, goto kolo, etc.

These ingredients are meant to be mixed into the hot tea. It is not meant to be taken as a shot. Can be taken once daily. Two or three times daily if coming down with cold or flu. I prefer using hot chai.

Apple Cider Vinegar & Sodium Bicarbonate

  • 1 – 2 teaspoons of raw Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1  teaspoon of Baking Soda  (aluminum free only)
  • 8 oz of filtered water

Combine in a glass and sip – do not gulp.  This is especially good for those people that suffer from poor tooth enamel. The baking soda slightly buffers the apple cider vinegar before it is consumed. Taken once daily.

Taking apple cider vinegar on an empty stomach may cause a sensation of slight nausea. It is a recommendation to not eat for a short time after taking a.c.v. Usually ten minutes will suffice. If the nauseous feelings persist or are strong you can eat immediately.

Building up Alkaline Reserves

A neutral pH of 7 is the perfect balance of pH. However an excellent target pH of 7.5 is more preferable to maintain proper health. The body needs these reserve buffers to neutralize any emergency when the acid levels are too excessive. These buffers are nutritional minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium and sodium. These reserves are especially important to maintain when one’s diet is acid forming, the immune system is weakened or when fighting off infection or disease.

Why Raw Organic Apple Cider Vinegar?

This natural non-toxic unprocessed food has medicinal properties as well as detoxing properties. It has antibiotic and antiseptic properties that also aid in the detoxing process. The most important quality that it possesses is the alkalizing effect it induces in the body. It also is very effective at breaking up and dissolving the biofilm of mucous and pathogens that may be lining the G.I tract. It is an effective and useful agent for good health.

Acidic pH Balance Will Discourage Bacteria, Yeast & Fungal Growth

The acid nature of the digestive tract when suffering from chronic acidosis is a breeding ground for many different pathogens. These parasites, bacteria, viruses, fungi and biofilms are able to thrive under these conditions. They consume nutrients from the food one eats and may also block the proper absorpion of nutrition needed by the body. Left to thrive these pathogens have a cummulative effect across the whole immune system. Some may even become systemic and cause ill health in other parts of the body. Correcting the pH of the body with A.C.V. and an alkalizing dietary change will clear and prevent further these issues.

Concerning Potassium

Potassium is crucial for the body to maintain proper health. Potassium is used to assist the body in new growth of cells and tissues. This is true for replacing injured cells and tissues also. Raw unfiltered natural apple cider vinegar is an exceptionally high content source of potassium.

Other Uses

It is also used in many topical treatments of lesions. It is one of the liquid ingredients used in bentonite clay poultices which draws out impurities and toxins from the lesion and aids in healing and preventing infections. It is flavorful and can be used in preparing salad dressings and dips that have an added nutritional value such as live enzymes, potassium, phosphorus, natural organic sodium, magnesium, sulpha, iron copper, natural organic fluorine, silicon, trace minerals, pectin and other powerful nutrients. It helps settle upset stomachs as it aids in digestion of proteins. It has many useful aspects to it and is often the missing ingredient in many instances.

Warning: A.C.V. is acidic and drinking it often without buffering it with bicarbonate of soda or without drinking it through a straw may cause enamel damage of the teeth. Another method to prevent this is to simply add 1/2 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) to 4 ounces of water and using this as a gargle/rinse after drinking A.V.C.
